The Connected College Counselor: Jacob Navarrete

Jacob Navarrete is an educator, coach, scholar, trainer and is “The Connected College Counselor”. With over 15 years of experience as an Admission Officer and School Leader, Jacob is eager to help you with your next steps in achieving your education and career goals.

A Stanford University graduate, Jacob has a deep understanding of highly selective admissions, and many of his students go on to attend Ivy League schools. However, he also recognizes that for most students, the best fit is not an Ivy League institution. Our students are enrolled in diverse programs around the world, including fields like performing and visual arts/film, medicine, architecture, law, and many others.

Jacob is an expert in various curricula, with a specialization in IB, AP, and A-Level programs. Our team understands that each secondary school may have its own unique process, and we’re here to help you navigate it all—whether you're applying to schools across the country or you are a school leader looking to elevate your college-going culture!
